The one thing not good the HUST SHORT THROW SHIFTER not AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.So Iam going with TAPshift controls.
The car was ordered in Temecula California. The cars home is in Las Vegas.
SWEEPING OUT THE GARAGE LOVING LIFE
WE WILL SEE THE CAR SOMETIME IN JUNE

Congrats!!! Looks like you ordered a real cool looking Camaro. I would love to see some picks. I think this will be one of the first to sport the high wing spoiler. I thought that was delayed like the Hurst short throw. Enjoy it. Arrange for some crowd control when it arrives.

So your getting the Automatic instead of the 6 speed manuel? You could have always ordered the manual and added the Hurst shifter at a later time.
Cool either way, I was just curious.

BS. i was at my dealer on october 13th at 8 in the morning and my damn order is still sitting at 1100. do we have any idea when those orders will be made? does it not meen anything if they were the first couple hundred, or thousand???

 

Dude hope its not BS. All I know is on Friday the dealer called and said allocation number is up. Went over the order, mentioned a contraint on the Hurst shifter. So I ordered the tap controls and he said that he will be placing the order and would get the car two and a half to three monthes.
Asked how many other SS were ordered and he said two and mine came up first.

 

My dealer placed the order this past Thursday, he said he should know by next
Thursday as to my production date. We shall see.

 

You do know you could still order the manual, just not with the Hurst shifter
at this time.

 

My order was pick up on March 5th by GM. My car will be here within 2 to 4 weeks from March 15th. I was the first ordered for a Camaro on Oct 13th at 8:18 am. I ordered 2SS/Black on Black with RS package.

 

that is bull$hit. you just ordered your car the other day and its going to be one of the first built and i was the first one at my dealership 5 months ago for this car and im not even up for pull yet.

oh and by the way the tap shift is called an automatic transmission. and the manual transmissioncan be ordered without the hurst shifter.
