We did both find that funny when we were talking about what we were planning on ordering, that they were inverse of each other. Except for the transmission...but even that changed to be opposites.

But now...CGM, yes. Black stripes, not for sure yet.

Did you decide to get the 6 sp. auto?

Off-topic...anymore die-casts in the works?

Yes, changing my order is what delayed mine quite a bit.

I love the pinstripes on Jason's Avatar! They're classier than the thicker stripes.

Chris,
They're putting your car on a train?
How far are you from Oshawa?
I would guess it would be about a 5 hour drive. I would have thought it would come by truck.

Well if it is on a train, make sure to get your railcar number.

I honestly don't know how they are coming from Oshawa to Detroit. It is only about a 5 hour drive.

I see lots of carriers heading west-bound everyday . I can't imagine they'd put them on trains for such a relatively "short" distance. They'd probably take more than the ~5hr drive just loading a whole train up with cars!! I'm sure there's a "line in the sand" somewhere that they truck to a certain point, then train beyond.

Or solicit a local to drive it to him for that personal delivery.

I've read that if the trip is more than 250 miles, it goes by train. Otherwise, it goes by truck.

Huh, and Oshawa to Detroit is around ~265 - 270 miles, so just over the 250 mile mark .

I thought the color delayed your car? Something about it not being ready until later this summer?
