Launch Song for the 5th Gen
It's only a matter of time before Chevy puts the word out to build the Sexy new 5th Gen Camaro....I've been waiting patiently and know it takes time for the wheels to get rolling on things like this (upwards of 6 months or so). So today I was out cruising in my 94 Z28 and had AC DC blarring on the radio when the song Back in Black came on.......
It then occured to me that the song would fit perfectly with the launch commercial that will present the 5th Gen to the public in the next 2 years.
Think about it.....the song Back in Black playing as a Black Camaro Z28 is lighting up the road in the new Chevy commercial...of course that is a couple years away but man that would be sweet!

Forgive me if I'm 2 years behind on this. It was just something that crossed my mind the other day...and haven't seen any RECENT posts about something like this.
However, I did a search to see what others may have said in the past but can't seem to find anything on it still. I'm sure it is hear as you have said but I just probably haven't hit on any of the right keywords.

one of the cell phone companies, Cingular I believe has used the back in black song for one of their commercials. Too bad, it would be a perfect song to re-introduce the Camaro

Is there any new news about the 5th gen Camaro? I'm been checking and I've not seen anything. I was down at my local Chevy dealer and I was told that GM was going to make a big announcement here in the near future.

I still vote Back in Black. The song is so good, it won't matter in 2008 that Motorola used it in 2005 for the black Razr phone TV spot.

All the songs you guys have picked are good songs, however I need something stronger. The Camaro is a muscle car, and to me the most muscular muscle car there is. I have a tough guy mentality, I like the Camaro becuase it's a tough car, and I want a tough song to go along with it. I don't care if the song is too much for most. The Camaro is too much for most! Let's hear some Rollins Band - Get Some Go Again!
