While the production Camaro will ride on a new Holden platform with a 6.0-liter, 400-hp LS2 V8 driving the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 six-speed manual
I submitted a review for the editors. I told them that they were way off with their choice of the LS2, just like every other automotive magazine. I told them about the LS3 and LS9, as well as the rumors about the 3.6L DI V6 and the 3.9L V6. I then told them that they need to do better research, because misinformation doesn't help anyone.
I loved my 69 SS/RS ragtop except for the cowl shake and understeer.....gimme something similar again without those issues and life does'nt get any better. I only hope that the dealer's don't wreck the fun of the whole product and its intro by crushing buyer's dreams in the form of ADM's.

I notice the instrumentation doesn't look as eye-catching as the original concept - I recall seeing warm, glowing, orange accents. Have GM deliberately intended to tone down the color of the instruments? It does look a little plain, albeit that's the only plain part of the whole package!
