While the production Camaro will ride on a new Holden platform with a 6.0-liter, 400-hp LS2 V8 driving the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 six-speed manual
Why do they report this when GM hasn't said publicly WHAT engine or transmission will be in it?? Are they completely ignorant that the Corvette has just debuted the LS3 and the T6060?

It would appear so.

Unless it has a retractable hard top, convertibles don't do much for me....

I submitted a review for the editors. I told them that they were way off with their choice of the LS2, just like every other automotive magazine. I told them about the LS3 and LS9, as well as the rumors about the 3.6L DI V6 and the 3.9L V6. I then told them that they need to do better research, because misinformation doesn't help anyone.

And I like the factory hood scoops on the GTO better than the LS7 goat pictured.

I loved my 69 SS/RS ragtop except for the cowl shake and understeer.....gimme something similar again without those issues and life does'nt get any better. I only hope that the dealer's don't wreck the fun of the whole product and its intro by crushing buyer's dreams in the form of ADM's.

I notice the instrumentation doesn't look as eye-catching as the original concept - I recall seeing warm, glowing, orange accents. Have GM deliberately intended to tone down the color of the instruments? It does look a little plain, albeit that's the only plain part of the whole package!

Go to the main page of this site.
Listen to both Podcasts with Micah Jones, he talks about the entire interior, including the gauges.
