Jada Toys released two more Camaro Concept diecasts

I was at the Chicago Auto Show today and was at one of the vendor booths will all the diecast cars. I noticed they were selling two more versions of the Camaro Concept, which poking around the Jada site, turned up this:

The only thing preventing me from buying them today was the tacky, oversized rims that are typical of most the Jada cars.

Yeah, I like the wheels on the actual concept, but those are WAY too big on those toys.

I saw both of them in walmart yesterday. I already have the silver one, so didn't buy either.

That's the trend now, not only for toy cars, but real cars too.

Yeah, I know. I am a pretty die-hard collector of the 1/18 scale diecasts... Several years ago, you could go to K-Mart, Wal-Mart, or Toys R Us and find a huge selection of authentic looking muscle cars. Now everything seems to be centered around the "dub wheels" market which definitely is not my preference.

I agree with you there.

Yeah I saw stacks of them at the show too.
I considered buying 1 or 2 there, but they're charging about TWICE what you can get them online for.

I would like to have the complete set of 4, but I just can't get beyond the wheels so I will just stick with the solid red and silver. The other thing that aggravates me is they released two more colors for the Dodge Challenger concept, yellow and silver, on top of the orange. I'm just sticking with the orange one, I'm not spending another 30 bucks a car to get each color of the Challenger concept. I haven't even seen the real Challenger concept in any color besides orange anyhow.

Thats too bad. I saw it at last years auto show in Chicago. They didn't have it there this year. Come to think of it, Dodge didn't really have anything there that was very bold or exciting this year.

In that thread of yours you mention there is 15 versions of the Camaro concept? I only knew of the 4, do you have a link to the others or was that a typo?
