I wasn't aware they were on the road yet

I just saw a Silver 2010 Camaro heading north on I-49 about 8 miles south of Alexandria, Louisiana this afternoon while I was out and about on the interstate.

The car looks spectacular. When I saw it I went

She looks better in person than it does in photos. I can't wait till I can afford to get my very own sometime later this year or early next year.

No pictures as I was on the southbound side of the interstate and I was on a time table to get to an appointment

They've been on the roads here and there for a few months now . Especially since the new year. ESPECIALLY since March 16th!

I saw one driving in Cleveland this past weekend. Looked maroon, but I don't think that is a color option, I guess it was the red jewel tint coat??? It was dirty, so it wasn't shining much, but still looked sharp.

The guy pulled into a parking lot, parked and immediately backed out and left...I was going to try to talk to him if he stayed park.

Could these be the first production cars to hit the ground?
Not CTF cars, but production cars.

I have to see that Red Jewel tint coat in person. I'm if I like it, tint coat it will be, but if not, PULL ME OVER VICTORY RED!! Or, Aqua blue, that is the other I want to see in person. If it will be a car that my father and I will get together as a father son cruiser, then probably will be Aqua blue if it looks good in person. Decisions, Decisions!!!!

FWIW, I'm not sold on the Aqua Blue. I've only seen them driving by, not stopped/in-person, but I'd say it's my least favourite colour. Now I HAVE seen one that appears to be the same/similar Navy Blue Metallic as the 4th-gens ... looked really nice as well . So far, the Red Jewel Tintcoat and Inferno Orange Metallic are probably my favourite colours, although obviously, black is still a clear winner too . The thing about the Red Jewel colour is it's very RICH looking .

I think this is hilarious.

Everyone who has seen the car in person says that photos don't do it justice, and yet there are still people who are surprised at how good it looks when they first see it in person, and still more people who haven't seen it in person and go around shouting about how ugly it is.

I stopped at my local Chevy dealer the other day and looked at an HHR and an Impala in Aqua Blue Metallic, just to get a feel for the color. In the right light, it's the perfect dazzling blue and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately, in anything but that light, it has a green hue that I don't like at all.

To elaborate a little, the one I saw was a base V6 w/ the ugly, black steelies on it . So the whole "package" was just ... meh . Now, I didn't notice much green in the colour ... it looked just like a light blue, that's it. Not a BAD colour, I suppose, but it's far from being my favourite. Although, like with many things, maybe if I actually saw one (parked) in person, and could check it out closer, maybe I'd like it?!

That could have been the Silver one in this post - it was in Opelousas.
