Yeah but it's Hennescrewed. I'm sure a REPUTABLE shop will offer the same package.

No way they got a 1.82 60' without some traction mods.

EDIT: found the mod list you're referring to, and in that context it's pretty clear that they were listing power mods only.

In the video you can see the stock wheels on it. I posted asking him if there were any traction mods......we will see what he says.

I meant this more of a look what a supercharged SS can do, not a plug for Hennessey.

Runs pretty damn good...theres A LOT left in it with the 121 trap speed and ET's only a 11.67.

My 79 went 11.05's at 120, so theres more in it.

Very impressive for sure...would like to see an automatic done now for comparission.

The ET-to-trap speed relationship only holds true when weight stays constant. The new Camaro is about 300 pounds heavier than your '79 (a bit less than 10%), and that's assuming you didn't do any weight reduction. The Camaro is less than 10% behind your ET, so I'd say it's doing fine. There might be some "left in it", but it has nothing to do with what you were able to do with your '79.

Oh I understand that. I just get a kick out of seeing how much people are willing to pay a tuner for their name.

stop paying attention to whos tunning it and just pay attention to the numbers its doing. everyone here just bashes any car builders because they have a mark up in their work and time. its the name of the game. the only reason hennessey is in these post so often is becuase they are the only one who has done this much testing and released it so far.
