Question Hard Launching

I just bought a 2010 stock SS camaro, and I was wondering what rpms I should launch at (4,000?) to get the best startoff. I would appreciate any tips/tricks or comments you might have; thanks.

Use competitive launch mode. It keeps it near the 4,000 rpm mark.

I don't believe your question can be answered without the following:

1) Which tires do you have on the back?
2) What are the surface conditions (e.g., VHT applied to a track, normal dry street conditions, etc.)?
