Good Place To Order Your 2010 Camaro

I just started working for our local Chevrolet dealer (Maxie Price Chevrolet) a few weeks ago and our Camaros for sale orders are going through the roof. We've already sold our first allocation of 2010 Camaros and we get about 5-10 new orders per day. We're ramping up to be the largest 2010 Camaro dealer in the country. You can order them at our website below. I do all of the online marketing / website design.

www.MyMaxiePrice.com/2010camaro

Or you can call and speak with a Camaro sales rep: (800) 731-2065

Price depends on the model/trim, etc. I don't deal in sales much to be honest with you, but I can sure get you in touch with the right person. Maxie Price is a family-owned and operated business and they are the #1 Corvette dealer in the Southeast. All Camaro prices are going to be high (everywhere), but we aren't one of the largest Chevrolet dealers in the country on accident. We treat people right and price vehicles low according to the market.

The demand for the new Camaro is so high right now, that you probably won't find one for sticker price this year, but I could be wrong. Most dealers are just hoping to get one Camaro in all year because of the high demand fused with the low production.

No.....That's incorrect. There are LOTS of dealers around the country who are selling SS Camaro's for MSRP.

All you have to do is browse this website and you will run across story after story of Buyers who ordered at MSRP and not a cent higher.

To quote another forum member "Refuse Camaro Markups"

This statement is total BS and is typical of what I've come to expect from most dealers. There are numerous people on this board and others who have ordered at sticker or below, you just have to shop around and be patient. My advice to anyone walking into a dealership and is met with the whole "demand...low production....we'll be lucky to get one car this year....be glad we're only charging you $5000 over sticker" routine would be to walk out and not look back. That's the only way to stop this.

I wonder how many Challenger owners that paid more than MSRP are feeling right now. Something tells me that they aren't feeling too well right now.

I can only go off of what is happening in our area and what I can find online. We have pre-sold our entire first allocation of 2010 Camaros already, and as far as I know, so has every other dealer in our area. On top of that we have over 20 "waiting list" orders in the que. I would love for you to send me some links of dealers that actually have some Camaros in stock right now, or unsold inventory on the way???

I can also tell you for a fact that our Camaro orders for this month alone have made up of about 1/3 of our inquiries. And we sell new and used cars, and specialize in Corvettes, so that data shows a pretty strong demand for them. I'm not sure what data you are looking at, or if you are just guessing?

So if "no Camaros in stock" and "waiting list" doesn't equal high-demand, then I must be confused. Maybe the term "strong demand" would be a better suited word. At any rate, the Camaro is going to get off to a good start if GM can make them fast enough for us to sell.

Again, I really do welcome some links to in-stock Camaros (preferably SS). I'll pass the info along to our sales team so they can see some pricing competition.

Hendrick's Racing / Chevrolet in Atlanta was the first dealer to get the 2010 Camaro. They received the first Camaros from GM's production line and as far as I know their entire allocation is already sold as well.

I guess we'll find out come the first week of May whether or not demand is high, low, strong, weak, lame, lousy, or to quote you, total BS.

I hope everyone finds their Camaro at a low price, and I too support browsing for the best deal. I would never tell anyone here to do something that I wouldn't, so shop around.

P.S. The Dodge Challenger is a flawed innovation. The over-weight fused with the low power output makes for a slow boat of a car in comparison to the 2010 Camaro. I've read some places that the Camaro engine actually had to be tuned down a bit to keep it from competing in any way with the Corvette. Can't wait to drive one!

Let me clarify...the actual statement wasn't completely BS, that method of sales is. Yes, the demand is high, but most of the dealers I've talked to use half truths and misinformation to get a higher price for the car by making it sound like if they wait, or don't pony up a huge markup, they won't see a car for over a year. I'm fed up with it.

To be fair to you, you did say you could be wrong about not finding anything for sticker or less this year (I ordered mine at sticker, by the way). However, when you said "Most dealers are just hoping to get one Camaro in all year because of the high demand fused with the low production.", it sounded an awful lot like the rhetoric being spouted by all of those "market adjustment" dealers in order to get customers to pay.

That may not be what you intended, but that's the way I interpreted it. Sorry if I misunderstood.

Not my intention to spout sales rhetoric by any means. Again... I'm not a sales person. I'm the guy behind the scenes driving the traffic

Does anyone know how many 2010 Camaros they plan on making, or what happens if GM goes bankrupt?

A dealership near me has 13 allotments and they have a waiting list of 18. There's definitely a big interest in the car with a lot of people. And I believe in capitalism, so make as much as you can. If someone wants to pay $5k or more for one of your cars, sell it! And congratulations for make such a good sale.

But I also know that if I just wait a little while, the cars will be easy to get at MSRP. I can wait, so long as I put blinders on when deals on Z06s pops up.

Don't remind me about the deals on '08 Zs! I'm going to do something stupid if I keep being reminded on what a steal '08s are right now.

I'm going to have to spend the next half hour looking at pictures of 2010 Camaros so I won't loose focus on my plans.

Production can't be that low. Your dealership has 2 Camaros listed right now on Ebay
