Yep, I was reading it yesterday... I just take everything I read with a grain of salt. It's nice to hope it's true though.

 

Surprised it took this long to show up here, interesting, but not unlike any other rumor, unfortunately.

 

There's nothing there more reliable than what you can get at the office watercooler. Nothing in that is substantiated in any way, shape or form.

Just noticing in your siggy that you drive a 2005 Aveo. Did you loose a bet?

 

Rumors - rumors. Living in Detroit, anybody could know somebody who's related to someone who's friend is a cousin of someone who works at SOME auto manufacturer. heh

nah, i almost thought of an aveo. ALMOST. it was to get rid of this volvo that's pissing me off, have a new car wit hno problems to drive the 9 miles to the commuter bus, and pay next to nothing saving me money to buy the new camaro

 

Yeah, but its not a “bad news” rumor….and I’ll take any good news….

 

LOL No. I just needed an inexpensive car with a warranty. At the time I bought it I had only recently purchased my first house and had quite a few credit card bills. So I wanted out of my $450 car payment with no warranty for a payment of no more than $300 a month (it's $289)w/ warranty.

My options were extremely limited since the car I traded was worth $4000 LESS than I owed.

Long story short, I wanted to lease a Colorado or Dakota but was misinformed by one dealership (they said I wasn't eligible to lease) so I went with the cheap Aveo. Of course after I signed all the papers I found out I WAS eligible to lease!

I only drive 4 miles to work, so the Aveo works out fine. It's just no fun...

I'd have traded it in the last couple months for a 2 or 3 year lease (briging me just about in time for the Camaro) if that $4000 from the previous car didn't make me upside down on the Aveo as well... Ugh...

 

Guess there has to be some perk to living up there ?

Maybe we can have sound clips of the "First Fart in the new Camaro" on next weeks podcast. (which in all seriousness is a pretty well put togethor and worth a listen BTW).
