Cool Ft. Lauderdale

Car Show! Scott and the group put on a GREAT SHOW! The car is REALLY better to see in person. Pictures do not do it justice. When they started the unveiling and you see the parking lights and headlights on it sends a tingle up your spine.

They even lets us go on the stage and get a GOOD VIEW of the car. I noticed on the instrument panel there is a compass in the DIC display. Kind of a nice touch. I'd post pic's but I had camera on a high setting and the files are HUGE!!! They had a camera crew there that took individual pics of individuals with the car that we will be able to post. They should be available today, so pics from folks that attendance will probaly be flooding the net later this afternoon.

Thanks AGAIN SCOTT for the INVITE.

P.S. I even had two Corvette family's attend and they are giving serious thought to purchasing the Camaro .

Hey fred it was nice meeting you man! Like I mentioned in my ft lauderdale thread, your car is gorgeous (me and my buddies met you in the parking garage on your way out) and that setup you have is pretty sweet.

Wished I could've made the special showing but time was kinda tight

Yeah we made it back fine. I95 was backed up but once we hit the turnpike, traffic was rolling at about 90 mph (even the troopers!) so we made it back in no time.

The show was great. The concept looks even better in person and I like the fact that the concept was sharing the plaform with GM's most vaunted car, the Z06. Was kinda disappointed that no Challenger was there but it was a good show with some good cars nonetheless. And you're right, the Firepower is a pretty nice looking car. Very Aston-Martin-ish looking.

Re: Ft. Lauderdale

Damn, that is one sexy car. I just got back from the show, the only thing that dissapointed me was I borrowed a digital Camera and 50% of over 100 pics are blurred I wish I still had my own (it was stolen though).

The Camaro looked great though. I wish the Challenger and Saab were there too. I would have liked to have seen more of the competition.

Re: Ft. Lauderdale

Ok.. now that i had more time to write something i wanted to say:

It was a great time! It was fun seining everyone again! Not a bad thing to do in the middle of the week. Free entrance to the car show, free food, the auto show all for ourselves, a close and personal look at the Camaro, that btw looks sweet!!! and be able to talk to Scott for a while was all well worth it. Thanks everyone for coming! And specially thank Scott and Robin (the woman that was taking our names any my contact to organize it with you guys) for making it possible.
