First Drag Race between Camaro and Challenger?
if you read the hot rod article, they said it was first 30 some degrees out and second it was not a drag strip it was done with a gps, as i said 50 degrees a good cool down(because that car literaly was not sut off all day) id be confident to say 12.7's are no problem. also the one thing that i notice is that the torque managment is very noticeable in the new ss, with some efi live tunning that thing will go like a 425 hp car should

I'm interested to see what GMHTP can do with it. I certainly hope that they can best the 13.11@107.4 of the stock 4th gen LS1. Heck, according to my 1/8 times, I had that covered(the 13.8) when my LT1 was just intake and exhaust. I know speed is not everything, but for the high thirties.....
BTW, it is no where near summer yet.
All I'm saying is these times will probably be the norm this summer and much to the chagrin of novice 5th Gen owners who think they will just take a spin up to the track and pull a 13 flat at 110mph pass. The SS as it sits in stock trim looks to be a difficult car to drag race.
