Finally Saw a 5th gen on the road today

I've run into quite a few. Never had my camera ready when I've seen single cars driving around, but I did catch two red and a silver on a carrier (oddly also shared with a couple of 2010 Prius and a Corolla) with my camera phone on highway 71.
And I went by Don Kahan Chevrolet in Lee's Summit this weekend and they had four out front - one 1SS, a 2LT RS, a 2LT and a 1LT.
These belong to anybody around here? They show up as "not in inventory" on their web site, so I assume they're sold orders...

I am a lucky guy...besides mine...I have seen quite a few carriers heading west out of the Oshawa plant....and I have seen a done up yellow one and a black one crossed me yesterday and we both stuck our fists out and waived at each other....
I think we need a wave...like the Vette wave....Maybe a ``c`` done with index and thumb....for old and new Camaros...

First one I saw was almost a month ago at a Stop light on Geary here in SF. Bright yellow, sunny day, car really stood out. Everybody in a 3 block radius noticed the car.
I also gave him a thumbs up (I was in my '02 Camaro).
Since then I've seen a grey one down in the Tenderloin of all places, & an orange one on the freeway.
Challengers still get as much as attention as the new Camaros do in the greater bay area.
The new Mustangs used to get attention, but that lasted something like 1 week. Now it seems I see a 2010 Mustang at least 5 times a day. They've grown on me and I no longer think the rear is ugly, but they just don't snap my head around any more.

I saw my first Camaros this past weekend. I saw a red one on the road, and sat in an LT in a showroom. It hadn't been sold yet, but they wouldn't let anyone start it, drive it, etc. I've been calling around, and haven't been able to find one I could test drive. It's getting a bit frustrating. I just have a thing, where I want to drive a car before I buy it.... But I definitely fell in love with it all over again when I sat in the V6. Amazing car!

someone in my neighborhood has an orange SS/RS with a sunroof. it was darker when I first saw it so I thought it was red until I saw it in direct sunlight. I went to a couple of dealers yesterday to see if they had one but no luck. The salesman their said I would be waiting about a year before the mark up was removed because the 2011 was about the be built in a couple of months
I laughed and left

I finally saw my first 2010 Camaro on the road yesterday. I was going westbound on SR-108 entering Oakdale, CA when one passed me going the opposite direction (EB). It was almost by me when I realised it was a 2010 Camaro. It happened so fast, I couldn't even see which trim level it was. However it was IBM... and even in the bright sunlight it looked almost black. Absolutely wicked color IMHO.
