Don't know how I feel about this, but I've never heard of the site either, could be nothing.

As long as they don't blow the welds off the intake of the Camaro, I'll be happy .

I never paid much attention to the TF&F movies, I thought they were pretty lame for what little of them I saw. However I happened to have the chance to see Tokyo Drift and I won't lie a bit, I was pleasantly surprised. It was a movie I wouldn't mind seeing more than once, actually and the ending was kinda sweet.

If it is true, it is a good thing regardless. More exposure to a new buyer group. I am not saying that I hope people buy a new Camaro and rice it out, but on the other side of the coin, I am hoping people will buy a new Camaro and learn what domestic performance and style is all about.

I don't think any rice will be involved with the Camaro, other than the spanking of it.

Any publicity is good publicity?

I dont think so... in both 1 and 2, the domestic cars were the main runners... the charger was faster, and the 2 in the second one (the camaro and the other one, I cant remember) were faster... and the ricers even admitted it...

Well usually the TF&F movies portray the american muscle car that they feature as kind of a "top dog" or an "ultimate final test" for their ricers. The first one had the 70's Charger that Dom was too affraid to race because of its power. The second had the Yenko Camaro and Charger R/T as the two top cars that couldn't be beat by the ricers without the use of some crafty tricks. And the third one, I can't remember but I think they used a Mustang engine in a ricer car? All of them were shown in the movie out performing the ricers without the use of nitrous.

So the franchise atleast depicts the American muscle cars as sought after performance.

yeah the dude in the ricer had to cheat in the race vs the muscle cars in the 2nd one.. played chicken with em and drove em off the road or something..

Yep, one was a 69 Yenko and the other was I think a 70 or 71 challenger. It's been a while since I've seen it.

I believe it was a foreign motor in a mustang. Some kind of straigh six I think, maybe supra or skyline motor? Whatever it was that he wrecked, he pulled the motor and put it in
his dad's Mustang.

Please please please please dont put a gay *** body kit and big wing on the new camaro. It will totally ruin it and stupid little 17-18 year olds will just talk mommy and daddy into buying them a camaro to put dumb s hit like that on it.

^^Really guys, I'm surprised.....Do you really think GM would do that? They have full control over how it is shown, just like in Transformers.

They didn't do that in the past three, I doubt they will in the next one.

I didn't really care for the cars in the movie for the most part, but I kinda liked Tokyo Drift. Maybe just because it didn't have Paul Walker in it, lol.

I'm all for a new one w/ a new Camaro as the star, just be more great adverstising for the car (hopefully coming out around the time as the actual car unlike TF)...
