Eye Candy! - Orange Camaros!!
Here's an Inferno Orange Metallic 2010 SS/RS that our neighbour brought home, next to my Dad's Hugger Orange '73 Camaro
. Hopefully one day he can bring one home with white stripes, but in the meantime, they're almost like twins! ... maybe we'll just call these two "cousins"
.

And just to show you guys the trunk opening from the back seat:

That's all of them!

And yes, the IOM is very deep, to the point of having a lot of "red" in it, but it's still clearly orange, and looks REALLY SWEET in person!
I'd say it's one of my top 3 colours now for the 5th-gen ... Black, Inferno Orange Metallic, and Red Jewel Tintcoat.
I flipped the lights on and tried to see, but couldn't tell. It LOOKS like the very top edge is more translucent, and probably should light up. I'm guessing it's something you won't see until it gets dark?
If this says anything about the car and the colour though, my MOTHER likes the car, and the colour!!
And due to where they live, they've seen just about every colour
(except the dark/navy blue one, or any with stripes). We've been hoping to see one at the house that's IOM with the white stripes ... hopefully one day?!
I know we'll take more pictures if we get that opportunity!!
Something I find interesting about these two cars side-by-side is the proportions, more specifically, the wheel-base, and the over-hangs. They're very similar (ie: short at both ends). Even things like the slope of the nose cones is similar, and the angle of the point they come to. Also, you can see the similarity in the tail-lights. While, obviously, the new ones aren't perfectly "round" like the 73's, they certainly pay homage to the '70-'73 era.
The thing we still haven't been able to do yet is line one up
..........
.......... THAT'LL be the day I've got something interesting to talk about!!!

I guess because they live in Canada, the 73 Camaro does not have the mini bumper guards that came on the United States 73 Camaros because of the federal mandated bumper law for 1973. Nice looking rides.

). Looks like I'll have to wait until I get home.
