My dealer today told me next Thursday my order will be run through computers, checked for any errors and if no problem and production date
of March 16th does not change my SS will be the first Camaro delivered to
his dealership. He's looking at the end of April. I realize this may not be the case and I am sure there will be doubters, but he was positive that my car will be his first Camaro. I am SO stoked!!!!!!!!!!!

 

He told you production starts March 16th? I think right there your dealer has no clue what they are talking about

Call them back and inform them that production is scheduled to start on March 12th, not the 16th!

Oops, my bad then! I guess I am getting too anxious and can not wait for production to begin

I'm actually dealing with the owner of the dealership on this order and I can
tell you he is top notch. I've bought many cars from his dealership and the
experience is nothing short of first class. IF he is wrong, he will communicate that to me.

 

My bad on that one...I don't know why I was thinking the 12th, I guess I am just anxious to get mine, tried to push it up a few days

 

I am also the first order for one at my dealer as well. I was told sometime in March I should have mine, but obviously production was pushed back 1 month, so it should also be sometime in April. I can not wait, especially when it was 73 here today!

Yep!!! I realize it may not happen, but as of right now, end of April
is the target!!

 

My dealer told me I was number 4 of his 12 allocation. I hope I get mine by June. It's good news that you will be your dealer's first. Congrats.

 

so how do i know what allocation i am of how many? i know i was the first order placed and they promised me the first spot, now how do i figure out where i am on the allocation list? or is 1 it?

 

I am number 5, or course all 4 before me are SSs as well. They are going to receive 2 the first month, so I am hoping for June.
