Plus I have issues even thinking about putting any forced induction on an engine with almost 12:1 compression ratio, at least on one that will run on pump gas

Or maybe they didn't anticipate the economy collapsing and car sales grinding to a halt, so now their volumes are down and they have to wait to switch paint over because they aren't making as many cars now. Delays of any kind are not something either a customer or GM wants.

GM doesn't get paid until a vehicle ships to a dealer and thus can be invoiced.

No one is happy or gains anything when delays happen.

Shipping a vehicle that exceeds expectations is still very much the key ingredient.

How about we state the obvious... Why is it possible that a few remaining run-off impalas which will be sold with huge incentives hold up one of the most popular colors for the new camaro?

That's just a pathetic management decision - obviously I'm not blaming this on GM's upper management but someone really needs to be knocked upside the head!

its not holding up the most popular colors(black and red) haha. just kiddding. cyber grey, i think was in the top 5.
