This is only way I'd put big money down for a new Camaro, if it spooks ZR1 owners when they look in the rear view mirror. Although I'd enjoy just doing that with a crappy LT1

a 550 hp 4100lb super pig won't spook ZR1 owners, but it will definitely put my Z in its place... in a straight line. cool car. might be worth collecting, tho it's not my bag.

Assuming you have a 2002-2004 Z06.........your Z is a good run for a 540 HP, 3900 lb 2010 GT500. I'd say it would also be a pretty good run for a 560 HP, 4100 lb 2011 Z28 - even in a straight line.

The only place the Z28 would dominate is on the dyno. And to this day, I still haven't seen one of those things pick up its rollers and scoot on down the highway - or track - on its own power, thus I don't think you have a lot to worry about.
