I voted camaro because I don't like the new style of the Vette. It's nice but i like the camaro better. If it was a C5 then i would vote Vette but it's C6 and they look like the old stingray...I hate those cars there ugly.

 

yeah I think due to the audience here the Camaro is gonna be a land slide.

It WILL be my first ever new car purchase.

Me-Corvette. Wife-Camaro. Me if I were single-Camaro. This is simply due to the fact that I like Camaros and Corvettes equally, but the wife is a HUGE Camaro fan, but likes Corvettes as well. The Camaro is HER special car, so we're gonna get one to her specs, but I'll never get another vette if I don't buy it for myself, so I picked Vette. So we'll have both.....someday .

 

I would love to have the money for 3 new cars at one time and still keep the ones I have now so its one Vette or two camaro's what would you do. I can pass up one for two of the other. Being retired and on a more fixed income has its drawbacks

 

Just ordered a DSOm C6 with Nav,Hud,6spd paddle shift and Magnetic Ride(F55).
Already saving for Camaro!

 

I just bought a C6 last month - and it will be sold for a new Camaro when they come to production

 

Does c6 include z06?
Nothing comes close to the power to weight ratio of it, not to mention every other performance statistic.
Of course I'd still have to find some 8:1 pistons for it and run 20psi.

A new Camaro Z/28 with be gracing my garage, though I will have to sell my 95 Comp T/A to make room .

 

C5 Vette needs to be in the list...I still like the C5 over the C6. And so do many others.

This is really such a hard question because I have truly loved *BOTH* since I was a kid. There isn't a car company that even comes close to having so many cars with such appeal to me. Add into the mix Chevelle and El Camino, and you've got a grand slam.

That's why it pains me so much to see GM going down the sh!tter like they are...

 

I voted Camaro. C6's are hot, but at half the price, the decision is easy.

 

Speaking realistically ($):

I voted other - and it would be GTO, except they did not include us Canadians, therefore, It would be CTS, CTS-V or yes, C5.

If GTO was here, I'd have one by now, I love it's subtle looks.

I'd go C6, but I can't currently rationalize paying that much for a car, lol... most likely I'll have the entry level V8 Camaro w/ premium pkg

 

You didn't specify whether money was unlimited or not I put C6, although it was pretty close. If there was a new Firebird the choice would be harder.
