Talking Convincing the wife....how??

So here's the deal,

My wife's new company gives their employees a $150/mo stipend towards buying or leasing an American vehicle. This is to help the enconomy and American workers in general. Pretty cool.

So, how do I convince the wife to use that money towards a new Camaro??? I'd like for her to get a V6/RS package, but she keeps saying we need a truck. (For moving, utility, etc...blah, blah)

I told her about the new Camaro...how it has 300 hp and gets decent gas milage, but she then says "Only 300??" She's used to riding in my 'Hawk that puts 421 to the ground.

Maybe I could convince her on the SS? hehe

How do I do this!!! Need suggestions peeps....

Tell her starting in 09 the government is going to tax vehicles based on mpg. For every 1 mpg under 27 (or whatever) hwy it will cost $1,000 for a car and $1,200 for a truck. Build a fake website about it if she doesn't believe it.

Rethink this. Tell her that's how it's going to be --- and that she'll have to convince you it's not!? Seriously, I think we'd better stay out of this problem!

Classic "cunnilingus-on-demand"...I'll tell her that's a from-the-factory option once you buy the car.

I've made some "inroads" this morning...hehe

Gett'n closer...

Thanks guys!

My way of convincing my wife is starting out asking for something totally ridiculous or dangerous then "compromising" with what I actually want.

When I wanted to get the new Camaro I kept talking about how I wanted to get a motorcycle and finally she said that if I never ask for a motorcycle again I can get the car.

Tell her to buy the Camaro and save on gas while having a sporty car. On few days per year that you acutally need a truck rent one from enterprise or uhaul. I gave up my GTO thinking we needed to have a truck and it was a big mistake. I actually use the bed a about 5 times a year. The rest of the time it is a car with crappy gas mileage.
