"i want it to fail only because i can't stand the people who are attracted to this.
as a "people watcher," generally those i see driving or being fans of GM vehicles like this aren't the best examples of what humanity has to offer imo.

the only person i've heard express an interest in this, is someone i worked with who's 50 but has the attitude/mindset of a 18 yr old cheerleader, along with a southern belle type accent. thus i'm now conditioned to associate this car with a dumb, aging, redneck, bimbo."

Ok, this guy is a complete ********!

What the hell is a "people watcher"? Is another word for creep!

Wow, there really is a lot of ignorant people in there. Everyone praises the LS1 of course, but absolutely hates and despises everything else about the car. Whether it's correct or not.

Haha, I find it hilarious how people sterotype. He knows one old man who he dislikes and like the new Camaro, so EVERYONE else must be like that too. Driving a Miata, I am quite sick of this stereotyping as you can tell.

They don't know anything about it, yet continue to bash incorrect information. And anyone who says screw American should be forced to leave the country. Just say you dont care for it.

People in here don't know much about the production car's weight, yet they bash it already too.

I don't recall anyone actually bashing the car's weight, given we don't know what it will be yet. People on here are just very concerned about what the car's final curb weight might end up being.

#19, yes but with a newer frame you get safety, plus you can still drive your car away from the crash. a friends grandfather had a bitch pull out in front of him in a Neon. he t-boned the bitch into the passenger seat and killed her, he got banged up a bit but nothing major. he had a newer Grand Marquis and even though the frame was bent and the suspension was messed up, it still ran fine and could kinda be driven

NONE!

Re: comments on riceornot.ricecop.com

wow...some of those comments were pretty dumb...I've read a lot of negative comments about the 5th gen on other boards, mostly muscle car and drag boards. Honestly not a lot of + comments on those boards regarding the Camaro from what I've seen. I'm kind of surprised. A lot of muscle car guys don't like it.
