Bittersweet,

Hearing all of these horrific stories about grossly over priced new camaro's makes me sad in the pants. However due to my current car loan I should be able to purchase a Camaro SS within 3 years. Far longer than i would love to wait but hopefully it has the same effect Pontiac had with the Goat when it came back out. Went and test drove one and it was 6k mark up. before they stoped making them they could be picked up for mid-upper 20K brand new.

I was at Arnell Chevrolet located in Burns Harbor Indiana last night and the salesman was bragging how he had a 2SS Manual Trans on order for a customer that was paying 15K over MSRP. General Motors should monitor these transactions and pull this dealership franchise. This is all out greed and should not be tolerated by the consumers. In these economic times dealerships should be happy to have a great vehicle like the 2010 Camaro to sell. They should not be screwing the customer with these huge markups over MSRP.
