Thumbs up "Classic" Movie Bumblebee. 5th Gen Camaro Autobot rendering

Update 3-11-07:
Did a B/W drawing. A little more of a grownup BB. A little more attitude to fit the Camaro's body and style.

His feet are the front half of the Camaro, I love it.

I gotta say, I would have prefered seeing something like this.

Though I'd choose a more 'Sunstreaker' or 'Jazz' bodystyle with the Camaro's hood being the chest.

Nice work to whoever did this rendering though.

Well, i'll let them know

actually If you know the original BB. He had the same set up of his feet being the front of the car. So just doing a little homage to BB using both the classic design and the 5th gen in the movie.
Actually will probably update this when I do another rendering soon.

Nice work. I saw this over at www.tfw2005.com Looks cool. Reminds me of the G1 comics.

Sunstreaker's transformation was the same as this. EllwynX, I know what you're saying about Jazz, just not sure if that would look better.

Caps94ZODG, have you done any of the other movie bots?

Ok i love the idea, But i have to say one thing well maybe two. First i know it isn't easy to do but i dont see the whole thing actually being able to transform. It isnt a big deal but in a way it is. Second i feel like we should have been able to see his wheels somewhere in this pic.(at least one of the rear wheels should have been visible). Anyway love the pic would like to see more, and while you are at it you should try and do Jazz as a Solstice in the Classic Transformers style.

Thanks Primus,
Actually now that you say it, he does the same transformation as Sunstreaker.
And the movie bots. No not yes. Just starting off with the simple G1 style. That leads me to what 97RS asked.
If you look at the original T.V. show the wheels dissapeared in the cartoon. Also in the comic. They just vanished. Was going for that look. The G1 comic style. Also your right about it not being able to transform. Its one of those things where in cartoons it looks good in bot mode this way and you kinda magically make things work.
But that both of you for your compliments.

side note Primus.I see you do 3-d renderings. hmmm...now that would be something to actually see this guy come to life in 3-D!

and ohh if he was to TF.

the legs as you know would become the front of the car.
His chest is the front half of the roof and windsheild.
His arms are the side panels.
His backpack swivels and comes around to form the back 1/4 of the car.

Yeah, I understood you (sorry didn't think about who did it before) were going for an original Bumblebee bodystyle. And you did a great job.

I guess I just think the Camaro should have BEEN Sunstreaker or Sideswipe (or Hot Rod) instead of 'Bumblebee'.

You're right about Sunstreaker transforming the same as the rendering. Sorry about that, I was thinking of his 'brother' Sideswipe.
