this dumb#*% is just working off the "secrecy" surrounding the Camaro.
Yeah, for some reason (like they really needed to) GM decided not to let anyone know for sure they were working on a Camaro, and they do try to keep a veil of secrecy over their future products, but for one, there is no black Camaro Concept, for two, the dumb asses in Quebec have been talking about seceeding for decades..... Also, if they did, who knows what their legal standing would be. Being a bordering country they would most likely have the same legal standing as Canada. Also, being that they are completely bordered by Canada and the US, I think it is impossible for them to separate.
That story is so full of holes...
Also a big block Camaro? Sorry but other than a show car, there is absolutely NO need to do so, when a smallblock that weighs 1/2 as much makes as much power, gets better gas mileage, and is smaller.
IMHO GM should have said up front they were working on a Camaro, makes much more sense out of their plan to turn things around.

Would the Ontario plant even require an aerodynamic facility?
Wouldn't all of the R&D/Engineering occur in the US?
I'm not sure, but I would think all of concepts, clay modelling and proto-typing
happens at one facility.

GM should of shown a completely retro Camaro and a Completely non retro trans-am. I guess I should be thankful though that they showed anything at all.
I think Red is our lobbyist.
