yeah that key is really cool. i always liked how vw had those, but never wanted to buy a vw to get one.

So are these cars still considered pre-production (X) cars or do they actually have a real VIN numbers.

pre pro. the ones with vins dont run til the 16th or march.

You most likely have sealed the deal for me to be able to get the new CAMARO!!! The ease of getting into the back seat and how much room there would be was the deal breaker as far asthe wife is concerned!!!

they do have a "VIN", but the x in there is for the pre pro. which means it is not the same as a real vin on a regular car.

Sorry all, we were asked to edit the article a bit and remove the video for the time being. While we didn't get into specifics, we do know that we didn't do anything wrong as everything that was said and shown was done with a Chevrolet escort. Perhaps in the near future we can put what was removed back up. We'll post in this thread if/when updates happen.

EDIT: We will be re-releasing the additional drive details on March 16 20, 2009.
