Sooooooooooo....I propose................

A contest of sorts at the Fbody Gathering at the National Corvette Museum.

Submit your 'Camaro' or 'Fbody' video --- we'll earmark some time to have a showing of all selected videos -- and the winner would get some sort of award and perhaps -- I dunno -- a ride in the Concept???

If you're interested, send me a PM -- we'll need it in DVD format........and I'll give you the address to send it to.......

 

--guess I should add that it should be 5 minutes or less. (or the length of an existing song or soundtrack...)

I have been depressed about my car the last couple of days. Last Friday I got the Camaro out of the Body Shop...local Chevy Dealer had put it on the lift the week before to change the oil and tweeked both front fenders

I was running a little Hard when the the Front Seal went south bound on me. It pumped out almost 3 quarts of oil and from the rather large cloud of smoke, I probably Killed a lot of Mosquitoes that afternoon.

The Motors OK and the Camaro should be out of the shop by Friday and I will be back out on the Road with my Friend/Partner again.

 

I'm up for it and I've already started. I hope you've posted this on other forums so the word gets around I want the competition

 

We make the drive to Kentucky every year for this event. About 2300 miles each way from Oregon, so practically anywhere else in the US isn't "too far".

 

What are the dates for the Fbody Gathering at the NCM? Bowling Green is only ~180 miles from Huntsville...I may just have to take a road trip for a day or so...I look forward to seeing some great video material!

Crap, you've got my respect as a long hauler. I just have made too many long trips this year. I'd also like to get both of my cars done so I can bring them both up to Fbody gathering and the Corvette museum.

 

oh man what a great contest! I wish I still had my Z to be able to make a video to enter..... how about a 92 Explorer trying to be like a camaro?

I absolutely have to make it out to the Vette Museum someday, thats like Mecca for me (and i'm sure a few others out there). I have always dreamed of picking up a brand new vette at the showroom and then personally driving it to the Lingenfelter shop

 

All I can say is that you guys better bring your big guns to this project, I have been working on something for the past couple of years off and on that is going to leave many people speechless with their jaws hanging open.
