I've oftened wondered when/if GM would get involved in movie marketing for their vehicles. It's such a great marketing ploy, just look what The Fast and the Furious did for imports. With any luck for GM this will have a big impact on young drivers.

it will probably work out to be the stang wrecks the 2nd gen camaro, then bumblebee comes back rebuilt as a 5th gen and kicks his ***.

Well.........Bumblebee pretty much got his **** kicked everywhere he went anyways.....

If it wasn't for the other transformers he would be dead every episode.

They kept him around for their perverse sexual domination needs.

Bumblebee did actually get destroyed late in the G1 Cartoon, as well as about midway thru the Marvel Comic series.

In both he was rebuilt as Goldbug. Still a VW Bug, but he got a stronger body and more firepower. As well as a more 'gold yellow' body rather than his original 'canary yellow'. I'm assuming something similar is going to be the case in this movie.

For all we know, 'Bumblebee' may not even be the actual name they use. I'm hearing some of the names being used at this point aren't correct in an attempt to throw people off.

It's yellow, it COULD possibly end up being Sunstreaker... But what seems to be known of the plot, it does look like it'll end up being Bumblebee. We'll find out in a year I guess...

Ever see the Matrix:Reloaded? Either they had the rights to that movie or most of them. The highway scenes took place in a CTS and Escalade plus every other car looked to be GM. This is huge though, a starring role (somewhat) for Camaro. Cant wait.

Great chase scene btw. Just to think I cheered when I saw a lone 4th gen amidst all the GM traffic in that scene . Now the 5th gen is gonna be the star of a movie

Yeah, it'll get some good publicity and all. I just wish we could get a timeless, classic chase scene like Mustang has with Bullitt.

Hey, now...A crown vic f*cks up the 2nd gen(real enough), not the new mustang. The crown vic gets rebuilt as the new mustang, and the 2nd gen gets rebuilt as the 5th gen.

That's just my skepticism, I don't see two different decepticons sporting cop car bodies.

First Marc, That footage is fake, its not ILM's stuff and was put out there by a very creative guy. There is also one of Optimus Prime transforming that a guy did thats very impressive, but again not the movies TF clips or test footage.

and Sharker the cop cars are one is a Decepticon and the other is just a regular one from that town where it takes place. You can tell by one having the decepticon logo in the badge the other is just a cop car.
