Camaro listed on Carmax.com

If you go to Carmax.com and search "new cars" you will find the Camaro listed under the Chevrolet selection.

Since CarMax has a no-haggle price policy I'm wondering if this will be a good place to avoid dealer markups.

Of course, the listing could just be a mistake.

Or it could be the smartest move CarMax ever made!

When you get to CarMax.com, click on the "New Cars" tab on the top.

Under the section titled "Find your new car...", select "Chevrolet" in the "By Make" drop-down box.

Then open up the "By Model" drop-down box and you'll see the Camaro listed.

If you continue you will obviously draw a blank because the car is not available yet. I just think it's great that CarMax might be selling the Camaro when it becomes available.

They have the Cavalier and S10 listed as well... I don't see those making a big come back.

The no-haggle policy has nothing to do with possibly avoiding markups. On the contrary, I think.

If, in fact, CM would sell the new Camaro, what would stop them from adding x amount of dollars on top of the MSRP and then apply their no-haggle policy?
