Camaro Concept in Gran Turismo 5?
I just saw the two preview trailers released for Gran Turismo 5, and I have to say, it looks AMAZING. 16 cars on the track at one time, a whole variety of new cars, accurate car interiors, fully rendered drivers and pit crews, the addition of Ferrari for the first time in the series, etc. I was wondering (maybe Scott could answer this) if the Camaro concept also made it into the game, like the Solstice concept in GT4. It would be nice to have a little preview of what we'll all be driving in a year and a half.

The Camaro concept is in NFS Carbon, so you could try that out if you want a preview, but you'd probably get a better idea of what it will be like to drive it by rolling your Hot Wheels version around on the kitchen table.
That would be cool to see it in GT5 though.

I have NFS Carbon for PS3, unfrotunately, the Camaro concept was only in the special editions for PS2 and XBox 360.

I would bet that Sony would put the Camaro in GT5. They always pick several concept vehicles to put in the game and with the popularity of the Camaro I would think it would be difficult not to.

I bet the Camaro will make it into GT5.
I hope it doesn't **** me off like GT4 though.
1. I wanted to drive the Chrysler Prowler in races.
2. I could never win the stupid Solstice in simulation mode, only arcade mode, and I wanted it really bad.
3. There was no Trans Am, just a Sunfire, Vibe, and the less attractive-than-2005-or-6 GTO.
4. Tire screeching noise was too loud too when you drive in first person or hood view modes.
5. And of course, no C6 Corvette.
6. Would have been nice if there were more than one Callaway.

I wouldn't hold my breath, GT5 will have less cars than GT4 (unless they keep delaying the game) because of the amount of time it takes to render each car with the amount of ploygons they are using. I read in some gamer magazine that did a feature on GT5 that if one person works on a car, it takes them about 90 days to get the car done.
And you know if any cars aren't going to make the cut, it will be American cars, not Japanese cars. You know the game will still have 50 versions of the Skyline, Civic, NSX and so on.

that's one of the main things that **** me off about GT5... like we don't have about 50 versions of Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, Vipers, old muscle cars... but like a sucker i'll probably get myself a PS3 when GT5 comes out...
