IF it gets B-pillars, they will be completely hidden under glass. Unlike the exposed ones on the GTO.

That would be fine with me, cuz that would bring about the possibility of T-Tops/Targa then, which is WAYYY more important to me than having a roll down 1/4 window.

Well what happens when you roll those 1/4s down? There is a big black B pillar blocking the open look? The best effect of having those windows is the open look when they are down. It would ruin the open look that you get from that. Also your obstructing your view out that window making it even worse than the veiw from a 4th gen because now you have the B pillar and C and only a short door to see out of increasing your blind spot.

If youre not guessing it would add weight on the exact same car Ill assume your in the buisness. 1st Gen are 57" in windshield to C Pillar, 4th are 53" along the top of the door. I would have thought on the same car same year same everything. loosing the support for a huge open hatch would more than make up for it. Im biased though. To me theres nothing better than having the huge open look of front and rear windows down like a 1st gen.

Like Brandon and Charlie were saying, if the B pillars are hidden behind the class and not noticable on the outside (aka the concept looks just like it does now) then that would be fine with me.

Roll down rear windows are pointless on a coupe IMO. T-tops or a single targa top is a great option and selling factor and can add SOOOOOOOOOOOO much more to the car than roll down rear windows.

I love the back glass to roll down and give a more open look and thats one reason I like a vert so I can have it really open when I want. One of my cars now has t-tops and the tops have never been out but to clean. I don't like t-tops verts only. A hard top and a vert will be fine with me

The last coupe that I had with roll down rear windows, was my '70 Delta 88 hardtop. I hardly ever rolled down the rear windows though, because at speeds of 40mph or over, it felt like a tornado was hitting the back of my head.

It's the opposite experience in my 70 Chevelle. Rolling all 4 windows down reduces the torrent directly at my head.

Ive rolled down the rear windows in my 69 quite a few times. Having them electric would make me do it even more. Too much wind when you get up to speed? Hit the button and roll them up with 1/4's or pull over and get the tops out of the trunk?

If it gets B pillars, the windows won't be rolling down.

The convertibles will, but they won't have B pillars either.

ABSOLUTELY! I won't be knee-jerk enough to say it's a deal breaker, but this design SHOULD NOT have a b-pillar!!!! It is a huge part of the beauty of this design NOT to have one.

What a dilemma....

Here's my view.

If it's only a 50lb difference - no B-pillar.

If it's a 100lb difference - I'll take a B-pillar.

If 50lb difference and I can have T-tops - I'll take a B-pillar.

Better make it as unobtrusive as possible!! I don't want an opera window like the stang has.
