Its the best front shot of an SS that I have seen so far. Now I can't decide which headlights are nicer looking - standard or the RS halos.

Looks like it's a photo shop of the image on the Milford videos page on the gm.ca website. There's a front end SS photo there, black, same angle. No graphics etc, it's just the car.

Bottom left corner of the flash screen, third image from the left.

Yeah, it's kinda weird, but there're a lot of muscle car lovers out there. With gas prices in pennies, they should love nothing but cars w/big engines!

Arabs should love big V8 engines cause my dad just came back from Saudi Arabia and said that gas was like 45 cents there. Just imagine that price in America

So that is what the regular head lights will look like. I like them, but I like the RS more.

Grill looks good to me. I'm sure there will be tons of aftermarket grills for those that want it changed.

Functional or not, the mail slot makes it look mean.

The grill is terrible, (where's the preproduction one?) but I might like those headlights more than the HID's. Weird.

I'm with ya' on the headlight thing. Less bling, more retro. Keep it simple.

Wow, I thought I would be the ONLY one expressing this sentiment. I like the standard headlights better too! More agressive look. After thinking the halos would be an absolute must have, now I think they make the car look friendler and less aggressive somehow. They appear bigger to me in proportion than on the concept or something.
Anyway, I'm still surprised, but unless seeing it in person changes my mind, I'll be choosing the standard lights and maybe getting out cheaper to boot. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though, after wanting a '69 RS and finally getting one years ago, I found that I definitely preferred the standard grill for the same reason, more aggressive look.

Just as fake as the hood vents on a 1st gen SS.

I couldn't agree more. I think the pro-pro grill with the three bars would flow with the bottom grill much better. It would look much more agressive and put together IMO. Hopefully the after market will offer something similar.
