Yes, I know, I shouldn't have said 2009 MY, should have just said 2009 vehicles.

whats the reasoning behind delaying HUD? I wont be buying a camaro when they first come out, but that seems silly. They put hud on so many other cars nowadays I would think it would be an easy thing to implement . Its not like they have to retake crash tests or anything because of hud... Oh well, I know it makes some people mad, but it wont affect me.

I'm guessing the Carbon Trim Kit refers to carbon fiber? That sounds like something I would like. I hope to see some detailed pics about that soon. Better yet, I would like to see an Imperial Blue Metallic/Black interior SS with the Carbon Trim Kit at the Chicago Auto Show in February! Halogen headlights and auto trans please.

yes i am happy they are making a camaro at all

and i knew that the HUD would be available starting 12/09. NOW its 6/010? the public info for several months that u are referring to was the 12/09 date. i was willing to wait a year for money purposes, but now i gotta wait another year and 8 months on top of that? i said it before and i will say it again:

RIDICULOUS.

and i dont care what the reasons are. if GM is in that much financial trouble, then maybe they should stop producing crap cars like the aveo. just a thought.

Love the new Camaro!! Not really digging the Accessories......too Fast-n-Furious for me.
Where are the accessories that help accentuate the bits of classic Camaro included in the new car?
If I had to guess, I'd think the split for people wanting to modernize is close to equal to people wanting retro.

the pic of the camaro completely decked out w/ accessories screams more 3rd gen mullet-mobile than ricer to me. But, I'm glad to see options are there for those that like that kinda thing.

Please show me when/where that date was announced. Maybe I missed it, but I've heard no such thing.

A year and eight months is a total of 20 months.

December of '09 is only ten months after the start of production.

June of 2010 is seven months after December of '09, not twenty.

That's a total of 17 months to wait for HUD. You were already going to wait a year -- this is an extra FIVE months.

Go ahead and keep calling it ridiculous.

That grille doesn't look bad...similar to the '69 RS style.

I'd really like to see a picture of the "blade" spoiler on a car.

I'm not thrilled with the front chin spoiler, but I love the rear diffuser.

I hope there's more performance parts available - I'd like to see some suspension packages and additional power packages.

it was stated all along that the HUD and the rear-park assist would BOTH be put into production at the same time starting 12/09. need more proof?

https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/sho...&highlight=HUD

go to post #6.

Next time before u come in here thinking u know everything, make sure u do b4 u act like u do.

PS: i WILL go ahead and KEEP calling it RIDICULOUS

PPS: if the car comes out 2/09, and PREVIOUSLY, the car wasn't going to start to have HUD put in it for orders until 12/09, that makes it 10 months. if i ordered the car 12/09, i would likely get it 2/10. that makes it 1 full year. now having to wait until 6/10 to order the car with it, that makes it about 1 year 9 months by the time the car would arrive at the dealership, nearly 2 years longer than what it should have been.

again, if the development costs are that bad for HUD (which is pathetic), than stop making crap cars that no1 cares about, like the aveo or HHR (that car was 8 years to late to the dance).

im hoping so because i dont know how much i like the orange or the blue lighting.
