Nothing new. My 84 camaro did worse to a ford z71 I believe it was. Ripped the back axle clean off the truck and then the thing went through a fire hydrant and landed on it's side on a telephone pole. He was speeding a little big lol. All it hurt was the drivers front corner (pushed the front frame rail down on that side and broke the core support cause it was rusty lol) Estimate to have car straightened out was $400. I had the front end parts already. Truck was totaled. Camaros do rather well against higher vehicles. Has alot to do with them sitting low and having some weight.

The sad thing is that they're both very close in weight with the Tacoma coming in at about 4100lbs.

Yea my bad. Had a brain snap for a minute. It was an F150 XLT. Was quite a few years ago though (about 7 or so)
