Build a 2010 mustang

Who also kind of feel that build a stang has more to look at and do, than the Camaro. http://bp2.forddirect.fordvehicles.c...=/MakeItYours/ http://www.chevrolet.com/allnewcamar...build-your-own

I don't think the Camaro site is finished just yet. I think there will be additions and changes in the next few months. So I think they met the goal of up and running on 3/16 but i still think they will be making changes and adjustments.

I compared a premium GT stang to the 2SS that I ordered. My SS was $2,000 more with 111 more HP. The stang was similarly equiped to my SS.

I actually prefer fords "build your own" feature. It calculates the payment change for each option you chose on your vehicle.

The camaro website is pretty good, but GM's normal build feature kinda blows IMHO.

The 2010 Mustang website is very good and well done. Plenty of visual eye candy, great layout and a ton of information. If you check out the Nissan 370 Z website it also has a great layout, clean easy to use interface.

The 2010 Camaro website though not too bad...should be alot more user interactive, organized and simple to navigate. It needs more photos of all the Camaro models, a couple of well produced videos that show actual footage of the production camaro not the hollywood bumble bee. A CGI/Real Camaro intro that is visually more interesting with alot more information on the new Camaro.

The initial introduction is kind of neat with the car being put together pointing out all the advanced technologies. After that it gets boring very boring. What's with the Camaro appearing to be floating in mid air? I get that it's supposedly driving on the white CGI ground with the orange lines to focus all the attention on the Camaro. However there needs to be a realistic looking road, scenery and some shots with the BASE and SS with and without the RS packages for the initial intro to make the website more exciting.

So i can get a 500 watt stereo in a mustang, but only 245 in the Camaro?

WTF??? why am I taking a 255 watt hit from my 97 Formula with monsoon?

(Even if its only a claimed 500 watts, i was never sure how legit that rating was )

Holy crap I just priced a 2010 GT Premium against a 2010 1ss. The Stang came in at $34,230 and the Camaro $32,755. They were identical in options except I had to add the 19 inch rims to the GT as the Camaro has 20's. Looks like a winner in my book. Now bring out the damn convertible.
