Well of course I didn't! Check out the 29 new photos of the concept car our photographer took in California this past week:

I'm going to take the tone of your review as rather tongue-in-cheek, because I haven't the slightest idea of what your point is. It's a pre-production prototype missing some of the basic vital components of a road worthy vehicle. The point of it's existance is for show and show only. Were you expecting to take it on a million mile endurance run?

I wish GM would stop doing this. All people will hear about is the flaws in a car that isn't the real thing. That's not good. All news about the car should stop now and not start again until three months before it hits showrooms.

And I sure hope they do something about that fat *** the car has. the 1/4 panels come down way too far behind the rear wheels.

I dont understand why you would pick apart a car that isnt finished. The whole purpose of the car is the look and feel of what it would be like behind the wheel. Not actually driving it.

How can you say you have no idea if the LS2 can move the car or not. Who cares? First off, if you wanted to focus on that look at how a GTO or a CTS-V does. Second its getting an LS3 NOT an LS2.

Also, just because you put up a disclaimer that the car is not production, doesnt mean it makes sense to soley pick the car apart mechanically. The whole review makes no sense...

Youve got hope that pony cars are back? Did you need to drive the car for that? Theres no feel for the car in the review. No insight into the experience.

You guys are overreacting a bit and reading too much into what he's saying. He had fun with the review and clearly states he knows nothing of what the actual car will drive like.

These test drives are pointless in all things except exposure, which is all they are for.

couldnt disagree more. Its what you take away from it. Its how it looks in person. The feeling and the view behind the wheel. What is your feild of view like? Are there blind spots and if so do you think they will go away or be reduced in production. Does the car throw you back to the 60s when GM was king, give you a glimpse of the future or both? Go to any car show and you get a feeling from the car without even starting it much less driving it.

Its like he had an oppertunity, and completely missed the point. What a waste!

Well seeing that it's not a production car, I wouldn't put much into what he says. For example, notice the seat hight in those pictures? The head positions of the two front passengers are much too high. Looks like they are about to get scalped. Sight line is too high. A production model will either have lower seat hight or higher windshield which would dramaticaly change the feel of driving a 'vert.

Has anyone seen the piece on caranddriver.com? They mention that the car is way to wide. That's what i have thought. They claim the production version won't be as wide. I hope not.

Slightly narrower and taller is what we've been hearing all along.

Did I miss something, or are you making assumptions?
