After a long day of barrett jackson it was worth it to see the camaro in person! 10 times better in person and the auction was really cool!

Silver2009

The traffic around the Camaros was hot and heavy. Plenty of guys telling their wives, "thats my next car honey!"

I have to say that the Silver with the CGM stripes is really a great combo. I'm convinced that the stripes are going to really distinguish the great schemes from the rest. The more time I spend with the car the WIDER it appears. It easily looks as wide as my big butt 98 C5 was! Also, a smaller version of the LS7 wheels would be THE WHEEL for the SS. That car is the bomb!

My son and I sat with a couple of the GM guys over chow. They seemed really stressed out over the whole state of GM affairs. BJ seemed pretty low key this year. Ford had a couple of clear roof 2010 GTs on their sides and you could walk around the entire car and check them out. They also had 4-5 GT500s on the floor with one being open to sit in. It's so frustrating still not being able to sit in the Camaro yet! On the positive side, after the number 1 auction, there was a HUGE exodus of people leaving the show. I have to think that there are going to be a BOAT LOAD of buyers!

We did score a couple of the red Camaro caps that you see the team wearing in the video and I really appreciated that! I left with a passion for seeing/driving a production car the moment that they land!

The Silver car just SCREAMS for to have Black 4th gen "SS" emblems on the fenders. I hate the Camaro logo there!

The silver car has the halos, I tought you could only get those if you had the RS package? The car has SS in red, does that indicate RS package included? I can't remember anymore.

Yes, the silver was a SS/RS.

CLEAN

Yeah, red SS if it has the RS package, silver SS if not. V6 cars get red RS badging w/ RS package, non RS V6 cars get nothing but a chicklet on the side
