I've seen the HHR in person as well, it looks just like the Camaro, and the lighting in these pics is just fine to see the 'true' color that this is. The photo of the HHR is not accurate, and just as easily altered by the camera, etc. The HHR pic is what people are HOPING it looks like. It does not look like that, it looks just like the Camaro in person as it does in the pics. Every single picture of the Camaro in this color looks just as crappy as this one because that's the way it's going to look. Everytime you are in poor light with this car, it'll be ugly....and I can assure it won't get much better in sunlight.

I want a color like the jetstream blue or the HHR in the pic, but I know it's not happening.

 

Having seen ABM in the sunlight and overcast skies, I honestly don't care for it, but others might. It's a color that can't decide on whether it's blue or green. I like a good, strong, blue.
I have a '99 Navy Blue SS and the only thing I don't care for about that is the purple pearl in it. In low light it becomes "blurple".
I do like the Imperial Blue Metallic and if I hadn't already ordered Rally Yellow, IBM would be my next choice.

 

I think the steel wheels are neat looking.

When I first saw them by themselves I didn't think much of them, but they look beefy on the camaro. Its nice to see tires and wheels of substantial weight to them.

Granted the 20" low profiles are nice, but the thicker tires and those wheels make it look like a hot rod.

 

Hideous wheels with huge marshmallow looking tires on them.

 

The wheels look like the steel ones from last the generation of Silverado's... I think at this point with all the great things standard on this car they should have not even gone with a steel wheel. The tires are huge and have no place on a 300hp car...

As for the color, I havent seen a good shot yet so cannot say if I like it or not..

 

that color looks terrible. and those wheels and tires make the car look absolutely huge.

i have no issues with the tires but those rims look like crap. cheapens the whole car.

I'm sure I'll be going again in the next couple of weeks and I'll get a load of pics. (and not with a camera phone). In fact my sister is there today and I told her to take some pics for me.

 

Internet:
1. Camera not set to the proper WHITE BALANCE = color shift
2. YOUR monitor not begin properly calibrated = color shift

In person:
1. Your eyes = correct color.

 

Just change the damned color already, production hasn't started....hardly anyone really likes it and it's a black cloud on the car.

 

Agreed. A nice, bright, green might be a nice replacement, perhaps?
