Hope this isn't old news or a repost. I hadn't seen it before today. And is it just me, or is that red ambient lighting?

Did you hear the stereo? That sounded GREAT!! And that's thru whatever recording device they used, YouTube, and then my computer and it's speakers.
It must sound incredible in real life.

And in an earlier part of the vid, the DIC said "Service Rear Axle". Is that just for the axle fluid or does the computer have some sort of way to check other components in the axle? My bet is on the former.

 

At 5:30 or so when he restarts it the orange dash glow flashes. Is that the ambient lighting? If so, that might make me give the interior a second chance.

Great find. I like the red ambient lighting a lot.

The exhaust sounds great IMO.

 

That exhaust is terrible. Unbelievable for 420HP. Way too quiet/hollow and sounds like popcorn on decel. How I miss the true SBC exhaust.

 

I was wondering if that's the stock exhaust or if it has the catback add-on?

 

seriously??? that thing looked like it was taken with a camera phone. not exactly a high quality recording. I was glad I could hear that "cackle" that it makes. I can't wait to hear it in person.

 

Very Cool. This is the first video that I've seen to show what the main dash looks like lit up. Thankfully it's not as boring as the static displays I've seen to date. I was impressed with the stereo, even with the very poor audio/video recording quality.

I'm looking forward to the day more than ever.

All I can say is WOW! Nice find. I love the way the exhaust sounds, the ambient lighting is VERY cool! First real long video of the SS with sounds, interior and exterior shots, ABL, and just a good feeling of what the car really is like. This video got me really excited, even more than I already have been! Now come GM, hurry up and build mine

 

Oh and the Boston Acoustics sound system sounds very good, very good!
