Anyone else notice the new wheels on the Bumble Bee?

There are some pictures of the car used in the Transformer 2 movie floating around. One has a Hummer HX and the other has a Chevy Beat.

In the photo of the Beat there is a rear shot of the Bee and it has new wheels.

Could these be a glimps of the Z/28 or new SPO wheels?

that is a really bad photo to try and depict anything from. It actually looks orange, not yellow.

The wheel looks like they have a polished look vs the old painted silver look.

Also it looks like a split spoke similar to the Z06.

Now that I looks closer, I think you are right. Originally I thought they were big flat "dub" style wheels. But now it looks like the charcoal 5 spoke we have seen forever, backed by a huge rotor.

I wouldn't doubt that for TF2 Bumblebee gets some bling wheels instead of the concept looking ones. As for the actual Bumblebee GTO based car it did get the same wheels the Silver Camaro concept had and no longer sports the ugly faux wheel covers as used in the miovie.

.

They are using the two original GTO based cars for the second movie.

when this started the Mules were not far enough along to use and I am sure they had some other reasons.

The picture in there confirms that the wheels are different . They do look like the convertible concept's wheels .
