We've ordered 3 cars from them, my SS, and my brother ordered his 10th Anniversary Firehawk (since departed
), as well as his C6 from them, and we payed STICKER for each one of them.

Yes I called at 1pm Atlantic time and the salesmen took my name and number and said he would call me when he got details!!!Next week!(CANADA) He said I was the only caller today but he expected mor calls tomorow!!!
Re: anyone call their local dealer?
Whatever you all do, PLEASE don't buy from a dealer who does crazy dealer markups. Gouging thousands over sticker is just lame, IMO. Take the time to hunt around for a dealer who will give you a fair and reasonable price on the car.

If you've been on this site more than five minutes you know more than the dealer.
Dont give them any money, don't listen to anything they tell you about Camaro, and dont go there and have them try to get you to buy something else.

Re: anyone call their local dealer?
I went to the local dealership (Wood Wheaton Chevrolet Cadillac) and the guy there was telling me that money goes a long way with dealerships and they'd pull some strings to get me the first in town...
I decided to say I'm waiting to find out pricing before I commit to them.

I'm not committing money to it through this dealership until I learn pricing. I'm not going to let them collect interest on my money, when I can do the same. They're not known as the cheapest dealership around...

No way any dealer would get my money before they have an allocation. And never more than MSRP (and I've never paid MSRP before! lol) At the kind of volume these are going to sell at, I would imagine the gougine won't last the first year of production, similar to the Mustang.
Re: anyone call their local dealer?
If anyone is thinking of paying extra to have the "only one in town", keep in mind you will most likely be the only one in town for a very short amount of time, possibly a matter of minutes or less (depending on where you live, of course). Divide the extra you think you might be willing to pay down into a cost per minute and then ask yourself if it is worth it. That is how I look at it, anyway.
Don't buy from a gouging dealership, that only encourages them. Many dealerships are crooks and liars anyway. I shudder to think of all the people that might as well flush a lot of money down the toilet because they are letting their emotions get ahead of their better financial judgment.
I have a pretty big rant about gouging dealership in CamaroZ28.Com Podcast #49 that will be released tomorrow morning.
If you want a laugh, be sure to check it out.
