I can't tell if you mean (1) the Mustang GT will have more than 300 hp when the Camaro debuts or (2) there won't be a 300 hp V8 Mustang when the Camaro debuts because there won't be a Ford Motor Company around to build it.

You know, even if FORD fell apart, they could probably base a company on selling Mustangs and F150's alone
. Just think, you'd only need a couple plants, a limited work force, and there wouldn't be much else overhead to worry about anymore ..... probably be quite profitable for them!
