Was wondering what they meant by Summer White being an "interim availability"? It's listed in the catalog on page 10. I think white with gray stripes and midnight silver painted rims would look awesome.

I like white the most because I never seem to get tired of it. I have a '97 white with orange stripes (real 30th ann) that I still enjoy looking at. I think it's a paint scheme people hate to admit they like. The '97 has white/red tint while the new summer seems to have white/blue tint which might be way different.

The paint shop at Oshawa is currently painting a different color of white for the Impala. They are going to run all the rest of that white and then will switch the Impala to Summit White also and start painting white Camaros.

 

Note, as Eric77TA said, it's Summit white, not Summer white.

I believe the color they're currently using on Impala is Arctic White.

 

I believe you're right, but for some reason Chevrolet.com just shows "white" for Impala right now. Maybe it's so they don't have to switch it later, LOL.

I notice that Aqua Blue Metallic has been added for the Impala - but it's currently interim availability. And I assume they'll add Cyber Gray for Impala once they paint out the dark gray they have now.

 

I stopped by the Chevrolet dealer yesterday, and they had an Aqua Blue Metallic Impala on the lot.
