I was curious myself about a 1LE option but it's prolly to soon to know.

 

I can see Berger doing one. Also Lingenfelter Performance doing one as well.

 

I would just love to see this in a 2009 Red with Satin Black or Silver striping:

Mr Hamburger of SLP told me that there is some discussion as to some SLP involvement, but I have no idea at what level those talks are. It may be serious, it may be wishful thinking.

I was with him on our bus up there and we talked a good bit and he said what do you do to improve on a car like that maybe a exaust or something but most of what you want is already there. Matt Murphy was there at the show as well and I did get to say hi to him but did not have time to chat much. Tom Henry was on our bus also and I know he wants to do another package but as to what they don't know themselves. I would say they will have to get their hands on one and go from there when ever.

I'll bet there's some marketing hay to be made with some kind of "sorta-COPO" concept.

Maybe warranteed GMPP packages and special badging from the individual dealers.

 

Berger said they would be ready for this car! I think as soon as GM okays the car Berger has plenty ready to go.!!

 

Baldwin/Motion also has plans for a Super Camaro.

 

Ideally, the pressure from the dealer network like the examples above will result in GM NOT locking own the PCM.

Locked PCM = aftermarket death.

Please don't beat me up if this is a stupid question. No I didn't use the search button. . . but whatever happened to Callaway, and the Callaway SuperNatural Camaros. Is Callaway still around, and would they do anything with a 5th gen? I really loved the body work that Callaway did to the 4th gens, and the 4th gens were my least favorite. Don't get me wrong though, I love the 4th gens too. . . I said least FAVORITE. I love all things Camaro!

 

FWIW, I talked to Tom Henry of 'Tom Henry Chevrolet', and I remember him saying that if the Camaro were to return, he'd be doing a "special" model.

 

The main thing is this is a great car to start with and I think aftermarket and second builds will go wild with it and we will be all smiles
