At this point I am praying that the 5th gen does not follow en route the Mustang and Challenger. The shark concept looks great, but the more and more I think about it the more I think we are going to see a 69 knock off.

I think that I have some flexibility regarding certain specific styling cues.
But what MUST be right on the money for me is it's size, stance and proportions. If you don't get those (ALL OF THOSE) right...no styling doo-dads will save it.

and the car ends up in Mustang land looking proportionally out of shape in comparison to the design it's based off........
or else, all you end up with is a full scale Muscle Machine.
