Folks if you ordered a Camaro and nothing is happening after order acceptance and then you notice John Trotto at Buff Whelan has a car(S) available I would suggest going for it. My dealer has been telling me 6-8 more weeks for 6-8 weeks, came across a car John had available- all is good and the deal was done quickly and painlessly.

did you get a car from John at MSRP?? did you have it shipped to Palm Harbor? How much more did that cost?

Wouldn't happen to be silver, would it? I think you might have been on the phone with him while I was on the other line last week.

 

I originally called him about the silver one but bought the black 2SS. Shipping to Fla was estimated at $700- I flew to Detroit for $209 and drove it back, was a good trip and would have been cheaper than shipping except for that state trooper in Georgia.

 

Did you really get a ticket in Georgia?

At least you were past your break in period by then. How was the drive?

Drive back was great other than the ticket. The Camaro was great on the road and enjoyed the drive down- gave me time to get familiar with the car and 1200+ miles to break it in.... Took it easy the whole trip back, heck a 2000 rpm cruise is loping along over 80 mph.

As soon as I got home I had to leave for a work function through Thursday- will give you a call Friday.
