yeah, that poster behind the vert. looks like the front end of a "z28" or a remodeling of the 5th gen.

 

its not uncommon for the Magazines to do a chop and then present it as a "possible" model to sell magazines to people who think they are getting a sneak peak.

The economy Im sure has effected development (like everything else) but I would bet it is still comming. Question is when. check out the picks of the silver car and Bumble bee which my bet is would be the closest hints of what it might look like.

yeah it looks like it might be slightly different lines in the lower grille then what they are looking at so it makes me think its a possible z28 design.

dunno but they obviously are mocking up and testing designs. I dont think its Hennessey SLP or Saleen is it or could it be? Also it looks really close to Bumble bee.

Thats all Im going off of. I thought that silver pic was shown here as a leaked picture a while back. I first saw it on this site so I might be wrong.

 

JINX, a member on a couple other 5th Gen. sites made the rendering (well, several actually) of the grey one with the front facia that reminds of the C6 front end

 

its chevy's team of designers. its not anyone else.

 

Thats enough for me. I would think they mocked that car up for either body options or another model or both. I would think that much work where the mail slot is gone would likely be another model that they could also get parts sales out of the deal. If its another model, I think it just might be...

no problem. Definatly looks better without the mailslot opening. I like the clean grille between the headlights too but its probably too early to tell if it will stay that way. I like the lower part too. Ive always been a fan of the 69 camaro cowl so Im not sure how I feel about the scoupe although it doesnt look bad


Also, althought I dont like the SMS car it does make me wonder if the car would look better with the inside blinkers curved to match the round shape of the headlights.
