that is a sweet opportunity... I envy you... who knows when they will get around to bring the ZL1 to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale show... I might have to wait for the production version of it...

Ok, am I crazy or something? What has changed in that interior as far as layout? I sat in a 2011 car and I did not like the interior much. It wasn't bad, but it was just, bleh, and kind of barren. This interior looks nicer. Is it just the angle of the pictures?


Also, am I the only one who thinks the car looks a bit like the SRT-8 Challenger in this picture? Just the long hood and roofline and wheels. That is a compliment by the way

HATE that steering wheel! Looks like it belongs in an arcade game.
It doesn't fit in with the Camaro's interior.

 

It's probably the shifter, the added fabric on the dash and steering wheel and the seat centers.

Still really don't like the interior/ dash, but glad they got rid of the lame "off center" steering wheel in the current car.

 

Great pics! Overall I like the look of the ZL1. Wish it would have had a more iconic looking hood and the stacked foglights seem odd but thats about it.

I really like the interior with the alcantera, seat inserts, shifter and steering wheel. Anyone who has ever driven or been in a CTS-V with that option will appreciate it.
If these are indeed the interior update for 2012 I think it's a good one.

 

It does. I think it's angle where the wheels look more SRT8 like and the plastic lower valance gives it a Challenger type look.

 

Awesome pics! Love that interior - I hope it trickles down to the base car.

I don't understand what you mean by "off center" steering wheel.
Is the rim of the current wheel not concentric with it's hub?
Is the wheel not lined lined up with the driver (offset to either side of the mid-line of the driver)?

Please elaborate.
