2011 Camaro Indy 500 Pace Cars on Public Streets
The very rare (only 500 produced) 2011 Camaro Convertible Indy 500 Pace Cars are starting to be seen on the streets. One CamaroZ28.Com member snapped this pic in downtown Indianapolis.

This car is cool and all, but... I just found a local dealer asking $58k for one. If they want $58k for the IPC, can you imagine what they'll be asking for a ZL1?

Since that pic. was taken in Indy, I bet that is one of the cars used at the track (festival cars). They have a specialized Indiana license plates on those cars, and is one of the ways to tell if the car belongs to the track. This time of year you will see them running all over Indy in these cars up until the race in May. I think there are usually about 50 or so festival/pace cars used by the track.
