2010 camaro or C6 Z06?

With the Z06 you know what you are getting right now. That said, if you have a nice toy in the garage now, enjoy it and wait for the camaro. If you are hungry for some HP a long wait will suck. Either way you will end up with a nice ride.

Not even close, i own a C6 2007 not a Z06, the thing is a CORVETTE is a corvette, the new camaro will be very nice no doubt about it, but it's a camaro not a vette. People will have to buy that Camaro because of the back seat, the vette doesn't have it, if u need a back seat them the choice is easy but don't kind yourself you will drool over the Z06 everytime you see one, and He will blow your doors off everytime, the new Camaro will be very hard pressed to go like my 07 C6 goes, i don't care if it has the LS3 in it.
BTW i will have a new Camaro, of course i will be keeping my vette, it's going to be my wife's car she is very excited about it.
Firesuit on.

For me, it wouldn't be an easy choice at all.......
The butt-dyno screams 'Z06!!!!'....but practicality, and pretty much all of my soul screams Camaro. I want a powerful car that I can drive to the Grocery store if I need to. I don't want a car that I can't take out onto the road. (forget ride quality and handling - I would NEVER take out a C6 Z06 just to drive around. I consider that car to be way to powerful for daily driving - not to mention valuable...scratches!?!?)
So...Camaro it is. Sorry, Vette.

Never have been a huge fan of the Vette. I'll keep my Mustang and wouldn't mind adding the Camaro.

I love 'Vettes, especially the Z06 and ZR1, but I think I'm more of a Camaro person. IMHO, 'Vettes are more polished (as far as GM goes) and refined, and I'm just not a polished and refined person. I'm more rough around the edges and loud. Not that the Camaro is rough around the edges, it just suits my personality moreso than the 'Vette. I'm not saying it more of a car, or better than a 'Vette, it's just a brute

Class, Sophistication, Respect
If you want Class, Sophistication, Respect, a Corvette is the way to go...... and I mean a new purchase, not a used one! Have you ever seen a youngster ownership in a brand new Corvette before?
This Camaro is just a tell Tales' vehicle. Nothing is for certain about it, not even the pricing, and not even the duration of production. Down the road, you can always buy a use one.
Final note, the interior of a Corvette will always be better than any other Fbodies in production.

...really? How do you know?? For all you really know...GM couldn't be pulling a quick on and what we'll see come this fall is a rebadged 04-06 GTO just to mess with us...THEN you'd REALLY be sad...wouldn't you?! Let's save judgement for that day that we all get to see it/touch it/drive it!
Hmm...so, those of us who just have Camaros...have no class, sophistication, or respect?? I know, I know, that's not what you said...but honestly, you can (and will) have all of those things with the Camaro...Matt, you have a Trans Am right?? Have you ever stepped out of your car wearing a tux?! It's fun, I play cello semi-professionally in weddings (for 7 years now) and I LOVE pulling up to the ceremony in my Camaro (that's as loud as all get out) and then have the people see me...in my suit/tux get out and play classical music for the ceremony. THAT is sophistication...and all that came out of a Camaro...HMMM Oh and two kids at my high school drove brand new vettes...if that answers your question.
