"2007 - The Camaro will be There!"

Article found here. It’s a fairly long read (too much to quote) but it does sound intriguing.

its dated today, but it talks about them wanting to put a paddle shift 6 speed in corvettes... which it already has...

it talks about the 05 G6... which didnt get a supercharged v6... that I'm aware of...

so this had to be information from a while back...

but probably the camaro relevent stuff is probably true...

Re: "2007 - The Camaro will be There!"

I wrote that in October 03 I beleive. It was on target enough at the time to cause "some meetings". But as we now know...things change daily at GM. The G6 was supposed to be a high performance car...but got neutered after Pontiac got the GTO..

Depends on how far along they are in the program. Hopefully it won't turn out to be another Solstice.
I've actually heard somebody saw a prototype running around...
but I cannot put any credibility to the source.

it doesnt need a prototype...

they chasis is already in production, just needs to be majorly modified, and the drive tran is already used in multiple vehicles...

I'd say the v6 would be the same v6 the caddillac sts gets the 255hp one... cause its already on the sigma platform...

i think the longest aspect to get under control is the styling and the chasis/suspension...

Be careful what you say, I’ve been warned, we may wait till things cool down to start talking about specifics
